Nominations sought for export awards

BOSTON — The Alliance for the Commonwealth in cooperation with the Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking nominations for its sixth annual export achievement awards. In announcing the search for candidates, the Alliance statement said the awards “celebrate and acknowledge outstanding achievement by a Massachusetts employer in increasing international trade activity to retain and generate jobs in Massachusetts. The awards are to be presented in three categories: Product Export Achievement; Services Export Achievement and Global Leadership. Chambers of Commerce, trade associations, business councils and other interested parties are invited to submit nominations by March 2, 2001.
