PROVIDENCE — Nortek, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of residential and commercial building products, said it has acquired the Stoke-on-Trent, England-based Senior Air Systems, a manufacturer and seller of air conditioning equipment.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to a statement issued by Nortek, the company plans to fold Senior Air Systems into its United Kingdom-based operation, Eaton-Williams Group Limited. Eaton-Williams, which designs, manufactures, installs and services air conditioning and humidification equipment, was acquired by Nortek last July.

Shares of Nortek were trading down slightly, at $12.45, in early Monday afternoon trading. The stock has traded as high as $30.50 and as low as $14.50 during the past 52 weeks.
