Operation Stand Down receives $15,000 grant

Senator Jack Reed has announced that Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, a community based non-profit organization that helps homeless veterans, has been awarded a $15,093 grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Awarded under the Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem Award Program, grant funds will be used by Operation Stand Down to acquire a van for the transportation of homeless veterans.
