Owen Heleen has been promoted to vice president for grant programs at the Rhode Island Foundation. Currently, Heleen is the foundation’s lead grant-making staff member for the health sector, with oversight for the organization’s new Fund for a Healthy Rhode Island. Most recently, he served as senior community philanthropy officer. He has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.A. from Boston University. •
