Patricia Ryan Recupero, president and CEO of Butler Hospital in Providence, has been named president-elect of the National Association for Psychiatric Health Systems in Washington, D.C. She is a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at Brown Medical School. Recupero is board certified in both addiction psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. She will assume presidency of NAPHS in January 2005.
