Paul Bartholomy of Coventry has been promoted to captain in the R.I. Department of Corrections. He began his career as a correctional officer in 1983 and was promoted to lieutenant in 1998. Bartholomy previously had served as a staff sergeant in the Army’s Military Police. His new post will be at the Adult Correctional Institutions, in the John J. Moran medium-security facility.
