Peter D. Costa has been named senior vice president and director of Bank Rhode Island’s newly formed private banking division in Providence. He was formerly vice president in the Boston banking group at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. In his new role, Costa will lead the bank’s One Trust and Private Banking Services, an alliance with Coastline Trust Company. He has 20 years banking experience and will spearhead the bank’s ongoing growth strategy.
