William J. Schlageter has been appointed to serve on the Republican Business Committee
(RBC), which is part of the National Republican Congressional Committee. He is
the president of Novare Engineers of Providence, a design engineering firm specializing
in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP). Schlageter is also chairman for
the membership committee of the Small Business Association of New England (SBANE),
a member and past Rhode Island chapter president of the American Society of Heating
and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and a member of the
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). He resides in Barrington with his
wife Jacqueline Champagne and their two children.
