Providence-based Tazz Networks Inc., a broadband services company, announced Monday that it has entered into an OEM agreement with Cisco Systems for IP network policy control systems.
Under the agreement, Tazz will provide Cisco with a turnkey policy control solution to accelerate the introduction of applications for the next generation network. Cisco will market the Tazz solution as the Cisco Broadband Policy Manager (BPM), with the initial market focus on voice, video and data applications of telecom service providers.
