Sean Polay has been promoted to news and operations manager for Projo.com, the Web site of the Providence Journal. Polay is responsible for the supervision of news, production, programming and design of the Web site and its online services. He will coordinate the implementation of new products and services and participate in strategic planning for projo.com. Polay, of Sandwich, joined projo.com in 1999 as online production coordinator and was promoted to online production manager in 2000.
