The PURVIS Team Patient Tracking solution will electronically track patients from initial contact until they refuse care, are released or are transferred to a medical facility. It will feature an easy-to-use graphical user interface, and will incorporate laptop computers, portable handheld devices and wireless connectivity.
The system is intended to enhance the FDNY’s preparedness and its response to medical emergencies, mass casualty incidents and public health incidents.
PURVIS already has a close working relationship with the FDNY, for which it has developed and provides technical support for many mission-critical communication systems.
“We credit the success of this relationship to a proven record of technical expertise and superior performance,” said Tony Gharios, the company’s business development manager.
