Raytheon could get $160 million for projects

Five of the major programs under the auspices of Raytheon Naval & Maritime Integrated Systems (N&MIS) of Portsmouth were funded at $160 million in the Defense Appropriations Act to be considered by the House in coming weeks.

The funding includes $27 million in additional money requested by Democratic Congressman Patrick Kennedy.

Raytheon programs in the House defense appropriations include: $42.7 million for the Advanced Deployable System; $14 million for the SPS-73 Search Radar; $9.2 million for Mark-54 Lightweight Hybrid Torpedo production; $72 million for High Power Discriminator; and $22.4 million AN/AQS-Airborne Mine Hunting Sonor.
