Raytheon Co., the fourth-largest U.S.
defense contractor, won a A$74 million ($53 million) contract to
supply flight simulators for the Australian air force, Defense
Minister Robert Hill said.
Raytheon’s Australian unit will supply and provide support
for three F/A-18 Hornet simulators, which will improve pilot
training in the use of new weapons, Hill said in a statement
released in Canberra.
