Retail Solutions opens branches in Chicago, Arkansas

LINCOLN – Retail Solutions Inc., a provider of demand data management services, has opened branch offices in Bentonville, Ark., and Chicago, aiming to “enhance” its services to the Wal-Mart community and its Midwestern manufacturing and retailer clients.

Retail Solutions’ services enable consumer product goods manufacturers and their retailer partners to track consumer demand, store performance, supply chain costs and promotional campaign effectiveness to achieve improved profitability and productivity.

Retail Solutions’ Bentonville office, situated across from Wal-Mart’s headquarters, will provide Discover Local, the company’s server-based consumer demand data hardware, to the manufacturer teams that work with Wal-Mart.

The new Chicago office will enable the company to “achieve increased efficiencies in service,” Retail Solutions said, and to expand its presence in the region.

“Our success is based on our ability to deliver superior service and measurable results,” president John Jennings said in a news release. “Our new offices in Bentonville and Chicago will allow us to better serve our customers.”

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Lincoln, at 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Retail Solutions uses its proprietary database technology to quickly deliver point-of-sale data, along with the expert analysis and consulting needed to act on it, to retailers and their suppliers.
