The Rhode Island Airport Corporation will suspend its master plan process until it can properly assess the long-term implications of the September 11 terrorist attacks and their impact on the travel industry.
According to a press release from the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, the organization’s study resource committee will reconvene at an approriate, more stable time to assist in making a plan to meet the future needs of the airport, surrounding neighborhoods and air travelers in the region.
