Ricardo P. Romero has been named vice president of the audit department at BankNewport. He joined BankNewport in 1999 and has held various positions, most recently serving as assistant vice president of the audit department. Romero is responsible for the completion of various bank-wide internal audits in support of the annual audit program in conformance with the bank’s policies and procedures. •
