Richard A. Kaplan, managing partner of Yarlas, Kaplan, Santilli & Moran in Providence, has been named honorary member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The honorary member certificate is given to CPAs who have been members of the AICPA for 40 years. At the firm, Kaplan provides valuations of closely held businesses for buy/sell agreements, divorce settlements, stockholder disputes and estate/gift planning.
