RIPEC moving to Davol Square

PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island Economic Policy Council plans to move to Davol Square in May, Christopher Bergstrom, executive director of the council announced. Also moving to Davol are the Rhode Island Technology Council, The Slater Center for Design Innovation and the Slater Center for Interactive Technologies. Bergstrom told the Providence Journal that he hopes that having the four groups under one roof, especially in a location that is developing a reputation for growing start-up technology companies could be productive. The EPC has been located on Westminster Street in the heart of the city’s financial district for five years.
