Robert G. Petix Jr., a lawyer with Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP in Providence, has been appointed president of the American Lung Association of Rhode Island. He has been a member of the law firm’s personal financial planning group since 2003 and joined the lung association’s board of directors last year.
