Robert Ortiz has been elected president of the medical staff at St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island. Ortiz has been a member of the staff there since 1998. He completed his fellowship in diabetes and endocrinology at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University and his residency at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital/Temple University. Ortiz is a board-certified endocrinologist. •
