BEDFORD, MASS. — E-security company RSA Security Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of Xcert International, Inc., a privately held company that develops and delivers digital certificate-based products for securing e-business transactions. According to RSA, the company completed the acquisition for some $67.5 million in cash, plus acquisition costs.
RSA said it expects the transaction to be breakeven in the third quarter of 2001 and accretive in the fourth quarter, excluding goodwill amortization.
