Sandra Boehlert joined Providence Community Health Centers Inc. as a “ready responder.” Nationally, there are 80 ready responders who can be called upon in emergencies, including national disasters and acts of terrorism, but who will be normally stationed in under-served areas in rural and inner-city areas. They are assigned to a Community Health Center for three years at no cost to the site. Boehlert works at the Allen Berry Campus of the Providence Community Health Centers. She received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and her medical degree from New York Medical College, located in Valhalla, New York.
