Sarah Cahill has been named project director for the CommunitySchools-RI at the United Way. She provides the leadership and guidance necessary for the initiative to reach its goal of increased youth academic success, increased parental involvement in the community, more comprehensive youth and family services and expanded visibility of after school programs. Cahill earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and her master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.
