Sean Welch of Riverside has been appointed claims officer in the Rhode Island Claims Department of Amica Mutual Insurance Company. A graduate of Salve Regina University, Welch began working for Amica in 1985 as an associate adjuster. He earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter professional designation in 1995, and holds an Associate in Claims professional designation.
