Seven submit data to Red Sox in bidding process

BOSTON – Vying with each other for the right to buy the Boston Red Sox at what some predict will be a record sale price of more than $400 million, seven groups submitted detailed financial plans to the current owners for whom John Harrington is the chief executive. The contenders are Charles F. Dolan, chairman of Cablevision Systems Corp.; Joseph O’Donnell, who owns Boston Concessions; Aramark Corp., a Philadelphia Corp., the Red Sox’s current concessionaire and a limited partner in the club; Television Producer Tom Werner’s group; Jeremy Jacobs, whose company, Delaware North, owns the Fleet Center and the Boston Bruins, as well as interests in Buffalo; a group led by Miles Prentice, a New York lawyer; and South Boston land owner and developer, Frank McCourt.
