Shawn Westhoven has been named general manager of the Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar in Newport. He began his hospitality career at Castle Hill Inn & Resort and held executive-level positions at The Mooring, 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille in Newport and the Boat House in Tiverton. In his new role, Westhoven is will oversee daily operations of the 260-seat property, as well as managing a staff of more than 100.
