South County Hospital to sponsor Scholar-Athlete Games

KINGSTON — South County Hospital will provide medical support for the 2001 World Scholar Athlete Games, the Institute for International Sport has announced. The games will run from June 22 through July 1 at the University of Rhode Island here. The IIS was founded in 1986 as a way to foster goodwill among future world leaders through the use of sport and cultural arts. The organization administers 10 international programs that reach more than 160 countries on six continents.
