Stephen J. Farrell has been named CEO for UnitedHealthcare of New England. He will oversee operations for UnitedHeathcare’s plans in R.I., Conn. and Mass. Farrell had worked at Aetna, where he was managed more than 100 employees, 250,000 local health plan members and 350,000 national members. Ferrell began his career as a sales representative with U.S. Healthcare.
