Steven D’Alfonso joins Bank Rhode Island as chief auditor where he is responsible for developing an audit plan and managing an audit program to evaluate and report on business, operational, regulatory and control risks. He previously worked at FleetBoston Financial, where D’Alfonso worked in the operating risk and internal audit areas. He is a member of the Ocean State Chapter of the Internal Auditors. D’Alfonso holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and his master’s degree from Johnson & Wales University. He is a resident of Richmond.
