Susan E. Rembijas has been named assistant vice president, branch manager of BankNewport’s Washington Square office in Newport. She began working with the bank in 1983, most recently working as assistant vice president, branch manager of the bank’s Portsmouth office. Rembijas holds a Rhode Island Insurance Producers license. She is a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Rembijas is a graduate of Barat College in Lake Forest, Ill. and of the New England School of Banking in at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. She and her husband live in Jamestown.
