Susan LaPanne has been named associate commissioner of finance and management at the R.I. Office of Higher Education. She will serve as chief financial officer for the Board of Governors for Higher Education and the Office of Higher Education. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing fiscal policies and management support systems for Rhode Island’s system of public higher education.
