Susan Tardanico has been named vice president of communications for Textron Inc., based in Providence. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the corporation’s internal, external and marketing communications activities. She has been with the company since 1988, most recently serving as executive director of corporate communications. Tardanico has completed executive development programs at Harvard University, The American School of International Management at Thunderbird in Arizona, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
