Swank selling women’s jewelry line

ATTLEBORO — Swank, Inc. announced that it is selling its women’s costume jewelry
business to American Biltrite of Wellesley Hills, Mass., the Providence Journal
reported. The company reported it would be concentrating on its men’s jewelry
and accessory business. The sale is subject to approval by Swank’s licensors and
bank lenders. A high company official said the sale would give the company much
needed cash as well as improving its cash flow.
