Swarovski North America has announced expansion plans for its Cranston headquarters. With world manufacturing headquarters in Wattens, Austria, Swarovski is a manufacturer of full cut crystal for the giftware, fashion, jewelry and lighting industries.
Swarovski North America is building a 22,000 square foot addition to its facility in the Howard Industrial Park. The addition will help the company consolidate and expand its North American operation including its Crystal Components Division. The current operation is 130,000 square feet and employs 600 people. The company has two other facilities in Cranston that employ 250 people.

This addition is the first phase of Swarovski’s comprehensive plan to eventually add another 40,000 to 50,000 square feet to house an expanded distribution operation. Swarovski expects to create at least 50 jobs after the project is complete.
