Tech firm expands, Boston gets office

BOSTON — New Jersey-based InsureHiTech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insurance Revolution, Inc., has chosen Boston as the location for its New England regional sales and customer service office. InsureHiTech is an online commercial property and casualty insurance broker. The company is able to expand its eBusiness platform through recent funding from J.P. Morgan Corsair II Capital Partners LP, a $1 billion private equity fund. In addition to the expansion into Massachusetts, the $10 million in first round funding will be used to hire additional licensed insurance professionals for sales and customer service in 31 cities across the United States.
