Cox launches Web-site, information line for public access
Beginning last Wednesday Cox Communications launched a Website to provide information about public access and public access courses. Information regarding the Cox Communications’ Public Access program can be found on the Internet at www.pattv18.com. or by calling 821-1919, ext. 7288.
Currently, there are more than 800 active Public Access producers throughout the state and over 500 regularly scheduled program on Public Access television. Each Week, Cox customers can view approximately 50 to 60 hours of locally produced public access programs. Anyone interested in becoming involved is encouraged to call the information line or log on to the Website. Training classes, equipment usage, and air-time is available free of charge.

A Capital Connection
The Cape Cod Technology Council, Inc. has developed a relationship with a venture capitalist and a Website to address what it terms Access to Capital.
Cape Cod Venture Catalyst (www.capecodadventurecatalyst.com) will proactively work to bring entrepreneurs and early stage investors together. The new Website is designed to encourage the confidential submissions of Executive Summaries, and will also be used as a primary point of contact for investors who are interested in networking with the Cape’s growing technology.
Cape Cod Technology Council also will be holding a membership and networking meeting Friday November 5 at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Hyannis. The cost is $15 for member, $25 for non-members. For information call (508) 775-6330.
