Heartlab, Inc., a Westerly company specializing in cardiac archiving systems to manage a volume of more than 700,000 patient cases, has received ISO 9000 Certification. This signifies that Heartlab’s quality assurance system meets the standards of the Geneva, Switzerland-based international Organization of Standardization, an agency founded in 1946 to promote the development of international standards and facilitate the exchange of goods and services worldwide. The certification took close to two years, during which Heartlab worked closely with Intertek Testing Services.
