Thomas F. Burkart has been named vice president of claims and elected officer of the Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Warwick. He joined the company in August after working in claims departments for both regional and national insurance carriers. In his new role, Burkart is responsible for operation of the claims department. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
