Thomas J. Celona has been elected to the board of trustees at New England Institute of Technology. Since 1969, Celona has been president of Warwick-based Thrifty Car Rental and its subsidiaries. He has been a board member of organizations including Care New England, Kent Hospital and Citizens Bank of Rhode Island and Connecticut. He holds a B.S. in business administration from Bryant University. •
