FRAMINGHAM, MASS. (BLOOMBERG) — The chairman of off-price retailer TJX has filed a notice with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the sale of 400,000 company shares.
TJX chairman Bernard Cammarata listed January 10 as the approximate date of sale in the SEC filing. TJX shares rose about 36 percent last year.

TJX shares fell 25 cents to $28.63 yesterday. At that price, Cammarata’s 400,000 shares would be valued at about $11.5 million.
Cammarata also reported that he sold 300,000 TJX shares on December 1, 2000, raising total proceeds of $8.09 million, the SEC filing said.
