Tracie Sweeney has joined Bryant University as director of public relations.
She will focus on the university’s media relations and communicating to key audiences.
Sweeney previously was senior associate of public affairs and university relations at Brown University, and has also been an editor at the San Jose Mercury News in San Jose, Calif., and the Providence Journal.
She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington.
