After wining the competition, Vector became one of ten nominees competing for the national award. Vector was honored during the 32nd Annual Small Business Awards Presentation, held in Washington.
Vector was recognized as a “top-notch” high technology small business.
The company’s innovative technologies and outstanding support of a government prime contractor contributed to their winning this prestigious award. In particular, Raytheon noted Vector’s solid performance on subcontracts for automated test tools, which support testing of the software that controls the Air Force F-15 fighter radar system.
”The level of customer service and product enhancements provided by Vector contributed significantly to the success of the program,” said Stephen Ogg, director of supply chain management, at the sensors segment of Raytheon Systems Company.
”Our company strongly believes in building solid partnerships with our customers and this is a good example. We are honored that Raytheon nominated us for this award,” said John J. Paliotta, director of engineering and a company co-founder.
William K. McCaffrey, another co-founder and marketing director, added, “We believe that our company has a unique portfolio of products and unparalleled customer support.”
