Verizon Wireless, will hire up to 200 retail sales and retail customer care representatives over the next two months to deal with the strong demand for its wireless products and services. The positions will be based throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont, adding to the more than 1,600 employees across the company’s New England region.
“We’re committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience in the industry and the most reliable wireless network,” said Bob Stott, president of Verizon Wireless’ New England region, in a release. “Adding staff to our retail sales organization will enhance customer care at the point of sale, building on our existing dedication to exceptional customer service.”
