W. Curt LaFrance, Jr. has been awarded the American Neuropsychiatric Association’s Career Development Award. The award is given annually to honor a single candidate who shows exceptional promise in a career in neuropsychiatry and the clinical neurosciences. LaFrance currently serves as staff neurologist and staff psychiatrist at both Rhode Island Hospital and Butler Hospital, as well as staff psychiatrist at The Miriam Hospital. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. LaFrance completed the Brown Medical School combined residency in neurology and psychiatry.
