Wilfrid L. Gates Jr. has been elected incorporator by the board of trustees of The Providence Foundation. He is chairman of landscape architecture firm Gates, Leighton & Associates Inc. of East Providence. Gates joins over 100 incorporators of The Providence Foundation who are working on the following projects: relocation of Route 195, revitalization of Downcity, studies on creative economy in Providence and parking and security in downtown.
