William Dion has been appointed vice president and financial-planning officer for Rockland Trust. He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial-services industry and is a certified financial planner. Most recently, Dion served as an independent registered investment adviser and financial planner. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Framingham State College. •
