Deanna J. Casey has been named associate director of advocacy for the AARP-Rhode Island office. She will direct the organization’s advocacy efforts and represent AARP as a lobbyist in the Rhode Island Statehouse. Casey previously served as assistant vice president for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. She holds a B.A. in mathematics from Manhattanville College and an M.S. in management information-systems from Case Western Reserve University. •
