Linda H. Simmons joined Bank Rhode Island as executive vice president for finance and treasurer. She is responsible for asset/liability management, treasury, the profitability of function and budget. She previously worked in the treasury group of Bank of America. Simmons received a bachelor’s degree from Babson College in Babson Park, Mass. and her master’s degree from Suffolk University in Boston. She lives in South Dartmouth, Mass.
