Gov. Don Carcieri yesterday extended an executive order for an additional 10 days declaring a home-heating fuel transportation emergency.
The declaration continues to pave the way for lifting federal restrictions on the number of house truck drivers who deliver home-heating fuel and propane can spend on the road. The previous order was issued Jan. 17.
