CAMBRIDGE – Robert Rubin, chairman of the executive committee of Citigroup Inc. and former U.S. Treasury Secretary, will join Harvard University’s executive governing board July 1.
Rubin, a 1960 Harvard graduate, will join the seven-member Harvard Corp., which oversees the university’s finances, Harvard said in a statement posted on its Web site.
"Harvard is a great university, a true global resource, that plays an enormous role in furthering inquiry," Rubin said in the statement. "I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to that important mission."
